Lambda T0 terminator

Usage and Biology

This part is the sequence of the Lambda T0 terminator of bacteriophage λ. The Lambda T0 terminator is used for the termination of overexpressed genes’ transcription, making it a strong terminator. [1]

Lambda T0 terminator is used in iGEM Thessaloniki’s 2023 project, “Euphoresis”, terminating the transcription of the bsrG toxin (BBa_K4998029) in the Bacillus subtilis’ WB800N kill switch.
